China, cont'

Lounging Buddha.

Another Buddha.

There were a lot of neat doors in China.

Another neat door.

I love this roof, the color is so unusual.

Interesting pot/bowl, I can't tell you what this is, because I never hardly stood around the guide to listen, I was more interested in getting photos. Jeff was the one who listened most of the time. Sometimes the guides were annoyed if you didn't listen, but hey, I wanted the photos.

Crowded and hazy!

Crowds of people.

Always a lot of people where ever we went. And yes, it was hazy most of the time.

This guy set off a photo shooting frenzy! He and his group were staring at us, so I said, "Ni Hao," which is "hello" in Chinese, and he just starting smiling, wanted to have his photo taken with me, had to get photos of Michelle, Jeff, Eric and Julia, and it was just such a frenzy! It was so funny.

Okay...found another tour group shot with red hats.

So many adorable babies in China! Of course I have one, and she's 10 years old now!

I got the shot from behind, Michelle got the shot from in front of this group with their Burberry hats! There were so many different tour groups in China that some of them wore either different colored hats, or shirts or something to make it easier for everyone to stay together.

More photos of China

This was outside where they make the fake Terra Cotta Warriors. I thought it was really interesting.

You could buy these incense and light them, and say a prayer. It was quite neat. My prayer was that we were all safe during our travels in China and that we all arrived home to the States safely! It worked!

Random street shot in Beijing.

I loved all the lanterns in China. These next 11 shots were taken in Chengdu, October 2009.

All the lantern photos below were taken in Shanghai, China, November 2009.

Xi'an, China

Is this little poodle cute or what? There was a news stand/store just near our hotel in Xi'an, and this little cutie belonged to the person working there. Julia always had to stop and see this cute little poodle and pick it up! More photos from Xi'an and other cities in China to come!

Michelle and Lance

Aren't Lance and Michelle just the cutest? These are a few photos I took of them for their Christmas cards, and since those were mailed out long ago, I'm now posting these photos. I ran pool party from the Totally RAD Actions first, and then Indie Jane's grunge. Does this look cool or what? Michelle likes her photos processed in a cool funky sassy way! It matches her personality!

Birthday Girl-10 year's old!!

Julia turned 10 on January 2. She was so excited to finally be in the double digits! She got a second piercing in her ears, that's it until she's an adult!!!!! She ended up having a reaction that set her lymph nodes off and had little lumps all over the back of her neck near the ears. We were both freaked out about the lumps until the doctor told us he thought everything would be okay.
